My husband really likes this style of shirt.I've tried others but always go back to Dickies.Update 2019:I bought a bunch of these shirts 3-4 years back then they were great -- good heavy cotton, well made, and colors that lasted. I posted a 5* review at the time. Prices are up a little, but for good quality, you'd expect that and maybe a slightly bigger increase than they had. Unfortunately, the quality is NOT what it used to be.One of mine got lost, and I decided to replace it -- and the new one I ordered in January 2019 was lighter fabric, and has been wearing very badly through only a few washes. I didn't notice when it was new, but the listing that says "100% cotton" is no longer accurate -- see the photo of the tag, it's 15% poly now (I flagged this for Amazon and hope they will update that), and while that wouldn't be disqualifying on its own, the quality and weight of the fabric is MUCH worse as well.Still a decent inexpensive shirt, but compared to what they used to sell, and other options in the same price range, I can't recommend it -- especially if you're buying it to wear as a main shirt and not to wear under an outer layer.Sizing remains consistent. My original review from 2016:These are a nice heavy fabric, but also really soft. It seems to be holding up well, and is not fading despite regular wear; I've bought several of them. They are incredibly versatile -- just a little bit dressier than a T-shirt for warm weather, but also comfortable enough to sleep in, and light enough to layer under a casual button up shirt in cooler weather. They're sized well for outerwear, although they might be considered somewhat large compared to some t-shirts. I bought XXL which does perfect on my portly frame, and I usually buy XXL in everything but T-shirts where I usually get 3X.)I typically wear XXL shirts and have for years. I'm 6'5" around 305 lbs. This shirt is good in length and the torso fits alright, but the arms are abnormally long. The shirt shoulders hang off of mine and the sleeves extend down to my inner elbow. Both of these aren't how I'm used to an XXL shirt fitting. The shirt looks and feels good, it's a good shirt for the price but it just doesn't fit right. I'll try the XLT if they get the color I want back into stock sometime soon, but otherwise this one might just have to be a return rather than an exchange.I prefer henley's to t-shirts so this is the perfect substitute. I am 6'4", 220lbs and it fits perfect after washing and drying. One question is the collar tailoring above the buttons. It is a small tangled knot of fabric where the collar ends and button placket begins. Odd for an otherwise well made shirt. Maybe it is just this one.Nice, quality shirt. Soft fabric. But the seller needs to remove the word heavyweight from the ad. I would call this somewhere in the light to medium weight range. For comparison I have a Henley shirt like this from Walmart. It is a few years old and has been washed many times. I put it on a digital scale and it weighs 10.7 oz. This Henley weighs in at 8.7 oz and its brand new. Still its a nice short and fits me like a glove. I will be buying a couple more.I ordered a blue shirt and instead received a grey black looking shirt but labeled blue. I didn't return because I actually liked the way it looked so I ordered another one but this time I ordered a black. Well crap I got another shirt that that looked exactly the same as the first one I ordered and it was labeled black...... ok. They must be color blind or something but other than that, the shirt is excellent. Thick and soft material with sturdy stitching on every seam.Like this one. Fit is full. My waist is 38 and this xl was perfect, loose but not baggy. Long tail so I won’t show cleavage when I bend over.I tried it for the first time yesterday, and after a couple of hours, I felt too warm. I wear cotton clothing all the time, and never heat up that way. So I found this very strange with this garment, after all, it is advertised as 100% cotton! On a hunch, I decided to check the fabric label sewn to the garment. Surprise! It is made of 85% cotton and 15%POLYESTER!!! That explains why I was feeling hot, as I cannot where synthetic fabrics without sweating. My advice, do not buy this garment if you want 100% cotton. The following review is for the big & tall version of the shirt, size XXL. Note that there might be significant differences between the different cuts (ie, standard vs. big & tall). The shirt was way too long, obviously intended to be tucked in. To give you an idea of the length, I am 6'3" and the shirt ended slightly below mid thigh. It looked ridiculous. Also the color looked nothing like in the picture, instead being more of a washed out black. Combined with the overall low build quality, the shirt had a very worn out look to it despite being brand new. I can't imagine what this shirt would look like after a few months of wear.Lastly, there were no "KEY" label hanging alongside the front pocket. It's a minor thing but I thought it made the shirt look a bit more upscale. Another deviation from the picture.beautiful shirt. The fabric is above quality and the stitching is well done. Have washed it four times now and it shrunk on the first wash only. We ordered an extra large size expecting the shrinkage on the first wash and now it fits perfectly. Good shirt for the value.Usually plus size mens t-shirts are too short for my hubby but these are actually quite big and long! They washed beautifully and he really likes it so glad I bought 2 different colors ! They run a little on the big side so no need to buy a bigger size than usual. These shirts are ok if you are looking for work shirts that you only wear around the garage. The colour of each one fades and changes colour wherever you sweat. The final result is almost like a tye-dyed shirt. Washing them first doesn't help.Otherwise they are a very good shirt.
